  • The Arthurian Formula by Gareth Knight, Dion Fortune, Margaret Lumley Brown

Downloaded: 11 times | Size: 256 pages | Add to wishlist | Download for @100 credits

The Arthurian Formula The Arthurian Formula, was the last major work of Dion Fortune, and formed the corner stone of the inner work of her Society of the Inner Light for the following twenty years, supplemented by the remarkably gifted psychic Margaret Lumley Brown. It later formed the basis for work by Gareth Knight with the Company of Hawkwood and allied groups in later years, inspiring his book The Secret Tradition in Arthurian Legend. Dion Fortune`s contribution explores the remote sources of the Arthurian legends and the mission of Merlin, played out in the polar relationships between Arthur, Guenevere and Lancelot in both human and faery dynamics, and leading to aspects of the Grail. Margaret Lumley Brown develops the threads in the labyrinth formed by the archetypal patterns of the knights and ladies, including particular reference to Morgan le Fay. Gareth Knight`s commentary pulls together these strands with an overview of the various traditions back of the Arthurian Formula of Glastonbury, Atlantis, the world of Faery, Merlin, the Troubadours, the cult of Queen Venus, and their application in the practical Mysteries of today.

  • John Michael Greer - The New Encyclopedia of the Occult

Downloaded: 28 times | Size: 653 pages | Add to wishlist | Download for @100 credits

From "Aarab Zereq" to "Zos Kia Cultus," this is the most up-to-date, comprehensive guide to the history, philosophies, and personalities of Western occultism.

Written by an occult scholar and practitioner with the assistance of hundreds of experts in the field, this volume presents the latest in scholarly research and points out errors in previous writings-revealing truths much more interesting and dramatic than the fictional histories that obscured them.

The New Encyclopedia of the Occult is an invaluable reference guide to magic, alchemy, astrology, divination, Tarot, palmistry, and geomancy; magical orders such as the Golden Dawn and Rosicrucians; important occultists; and religions and spiritual traditions associated with occultism such as Wicca, Thelema, Theosophy, and the modern Pagan movement.

  • J. H. Brennan - Astral Doorways: Techniques for Experiencing the Boundless Possibilities of the Astral Plane

Downloaded: 23 times | Size: 115 pages | Add to wishlist | Download for @100 credits

Astral Projection is most certainly not evil, and is in fact a natural skill that we were all blessed with, since birth. It is said that we travel out of our bodies every night, when we fall into deep sleep, but either we just don't remember it, or we choose not to. This book looks into advanced techniques and shows how Time Travel IS possible for people today, in a non-physical sense. It presents various visualistation exercises to allow you to access beyond the realms of normal existence - it shows that what we are looking for, isn't in some far flung corner of the universe, it is actually inside US. I would recommend a different book to beginning Astral Travellers - perhaps Edain McCoy's aptly titled 'Astral Projection for Beginners', from the same publisher, or 'Astral Dynamics' by Robert Bruce. However this book is interesting all the same, and once you get to grips with the basics, you should delve into this one!

  • Ian Corrigan - The Book of Summoning: A Grammary of Pagan Spirit Arte

Downloaded: 19 times | Size: 294 pages | Add to wishlist | Download for @100 credits

    A Pagan System of Evocation

The evocation of spirits is one of the defining powers of the magician. From the most ancient times Druids, sorcerers and mages have called the Gods, the Dead and the Spirits of the Land to our altars, and made pact and alliance with them. Both practical magic and the search for the wisdom of the gods have always depended on the summoning of spirits.

Magical tradition in the west inherits a body of lore directly from Pagan times in the books of spirit-arte commonly called ‘grimoires’. While these basic instructions in ritual and spirit contact preserve ritual forms and methods as old as ancient Greece, they come down to modern times clothed in the myth and doctrine of monotheism. For that reason they have often been ignored by Pagan magicians.

The Book of Summoning is a complete practical system of ritual spirit arte, based in the forms and structures of the grimoires, but empowered by the gods and spirits of Pagan ways. Based in Gaelic and Druidic ways, it uses ritual forms, sigils and incantations focused entirely in the cosmos of pre-Christian Europe. There are no ‘angels’ or ‘demons’, only the Gods and Spirits. The magician approaches the spirits in a respectful and careful way, without coercion or threat. Those spirits that choose to work with the Druidic magician are allies and co-walkers on the path of the Way of the Wise.

The Book of Summoning presents a Pagan approach to classifying the spirits and teaches a ritual system based not on Masonic or Roman Catholic tropes, nor on renaissance occultism, but on the fire sacrifices of the ancient world. This is an entirely practical book, filled with rituals and techniques meant to be used. It teaches a method of creating alliances with allies among the Dead and the Landspirits, and of further conjuring of spirits for practical goals. The magician who completes the work will be prepared to deal with the spirits, whether Landspirits, Daemons or the Dead.

  • Hockley - Clavis Arcana Magica

Downloaded: 11 times | Size: 59 pages | Add to wishlist | Download for @100 credits

The full text of a previously-unpublished manuscript by Frederick Hockley (1809-1885), an occultist and Freemason, whose interests included scrying, ritual magic, alchemy and spiritualism. In later life Hockley joined the Societas Rosicruciana in Anglia and other esoteric fraternities, and his work was posthumously used by various members of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and his importance to nineteenth-century occultism is only now being recognised. The "Clavis Arcana Magica" is an unusual text for Hockley in that it is concerned with what might be considered "black magic." As Alan Thorogood describes in his Introduction, it gives instruction for the performance of a number of magical workings, the details of which were said to have been obtained for Hockley via his seer Emma, during a series of scrying operations undertaken between 1853 and 1856. The workings are preceded by instructions including the form of the "call to the crystal," the exorcism and the discharge. The first working outlines a method to call the spirits of five material substances or organisms for the purpose of receiving cognate visions, the second is a variety of praestigia for the revivification of animal as well as plant species, the third outlines the construction of a talisman which permits the operator to enter the "spirit state" while asleep, and the fourth is necromantic ritual "of marvellous power and force."

  • Dantalion Jones - Mind Control Language Patterns

Downloaded: 12 times | Size: 242 pages | Add to wishlist | Download for @100 credits

Mind Control Language Patterns are spoken phrases that can act as "triggers" to the people who hear them. In short, they influence and control how we respond and cause us to be influenced to do things without our knowing. These language patterns are not fantasies but are based on documented uses that come from, psychology, hypnosis, Neuro Linguistic Programming and studies of human behavior. Mind Control Language Patterns can be used to help and hurt. One can use Mind Control Language Patterns to create positive and lasting change in people, as well as feelings of trust, love and affections. They can also be used to induce amnesia, fear, insecurity and doubt. These types of patterns are what we call "dark" pattern.

  • Mind Control Hypnosis: What All The Other Hypnotists Don't Want You To Know About Hypnosis

Downloaded: 13 times | Size: 202 pages | Add to wishlist | Download for @100 credits

Most hypnotists will tell you "You can't be made to do something in hypnosis that is against your Will." Most of them actually believe it. But a few of the most experienced hypnotists simply say it to put people at ease. They know that, in the right hands, very few people can resist a skilled hypnotist. Skilled hypnotists know what it takes to resist suggestions and it's not what most people would think. Reason #1 - Because they don't want others to have the power they have. In spite of what they may want you to believe hypnotists are human beings. They have egos and ambitions just like everyone else. A lot of hypnotists discover something that works really well and they'll want to keep it to themselves. Reason #2 - Because it frightens away clients who believe they have some sort of Will Power. For most people real Will Power is a myth, a story, even a fantasy. Facing this truth, for most people, is a humbling experience.

  • Adam McLean - A Treatise on Angel Magic: Maghum Opus Hermetic Sourceworks

Downloaded: 15 times | Size: 112 pages | Add to wishlist | Download for @100 credits

From the world’s leading authority on alchemical texts comes a classic facsimile edition of a late 17th century collection of Western esoteric ideas on Angel Magic. This volume is an exact and complete transcription of the original rare manuscript Harley 6482, considered one of the most important occult manuscripts in the British Library. Harley 6482 is one of six volumes in a collection described as "The Treatises of Dr. Rudd." Rudd, a Hebrew scholar, seemed to have had available a broad spectrum of primary sources and a secret tradition about the Enochian Tables of John Dee. In his writing on Angels, Rudd exposes himself as a practicing magician as well as a scholar of esoteric material. He was deeply immersed in the dualistic picture of the spiritual world, which is of great importance in esotericism.

McLean has transcribed the text of Harley 6482 (on Angel Magic) in its entirety, modernizing the spelling in places but remaining as loyal as possible to the style of Dr. Rudd. McLean believes this Treatise was written by Rudd for use by a group of practicing occultists centered around him.

A Treatise on Angel Magic includes detailed sections on the Schemhamphoras, the 72 Angels that bear the name of God; the hierarchies of the fallen angels; rapturous Images of the Mansions of the Moon; evocation of the Natura Spirits; and John Dee’s Enochian system of Angel conjuration. It concludes with Dr. Rudd’s Treatise on the Nine Hierarchies of Angels and their conjuration to visible appearance.

A Treatise on Angel Magic is an outstandingly complex source work on Angel Magic, and a resource that brings together several seminal texts not available anywhere else. Essential for scholars and students of the occult, the book offers not merely one viewpoint on western esoterica but instead encompasses all of the important thinking on these topics present in Medieval and Renaissance times.
