While there are no
stirrings of pleasure, anger, sorrow, or joy, the mind may be said
to be in the state of Equilibrium. When those feelings have been
stirred, and they act in their due degree, there ensues what may
be called the state of Harmony. This Equilibrium is the great root
from which grow all the human actings in the world, and this
Harmony is the universal path which they all should pursue.

Book of Five Rings by Musashi
(34 pages)
The Book of Five Rings is one of the most insightful texts
on the subtle arts of confrontation and victory to emerge from
Asian culture. Written not only for martial artists but for anyone
who wants to apply the timeless principles of this text to their
life, the book analyzes the process of struggle and mastery over
conflict that underlies every level of human interaction.
The Book of Five Rings was composed in 1643 by the famed
duelist and undefeated samurai Miyamoto Musashi. Thomas Cleary’s
translation is immediately accessible, with an introduction that
presents the spiritual background of the warrior tradition. Along
with Musashi’s text, Cleary translates here another important
Japanese classic on leadership and strategy, The Book of Family
Traditions on the Art of War by Yagyu Munenori, which
highlights the ethical and spiritual insights of Taoism and Zen as
they apply to the way of the warrior.

The Art of War Sun Tzu Translated by Lionel Giles
(43 pages)
This particular edition of Sun Tzu's Masterpiece is excellent. It
presents the Chinese text together with the plain translation and
then it presents the full Giles translation, with the complete set
of notes and annotation. It doesn't get any better than this! Over
the years, Sun Tzu's book has received a great deal of attention
for a reason: Sun Tzu was a military genius. His rational approach
to warfare has been a model that has been applied to all manner of
activities and, simply because it is rational, it has generally
been helpful. But, make no mistake, the real subject is warfare.

Kundalini Book and the
Chakras: A Practical Manual by Genevieve Lewis Paulson (140
pages)
For the newcomer to
Kundalini and the chakras, this book is a blessing. It provides
detailed instructions for initiating preliminary system-cleansing
in preparation for release. Because Kundalini energy is sometimes
so potent that its "human module" finds it difficult to function
in daily routine and commitments, the author provides methods for
moderating or holding its release in check. With personal-scale
evolution suddenly on a strident quanturn-track, there is a great
need for guidance to soften transitions between our various states
of being in our process of evolution. Knowing and understanding
Kundalini does make the process much easier on body, mind, and
spirit.

Bon
Po Hidden Treasures: A Catalogue of Gter Ston Bde Chen Gling Pa's
Collected Revelations (323 pages)
New Bon promises to become
an important focus of interest among academic Tibetologists in the
coming years. This unique, first-ever English-language volume on
Tibet’s New Bon religion (14th century onwards) contains the full
catalogue of the collected rediscovered teachings revealed by bDe
chen gling pa, an important Bon po master of the second part of
the 19th century in Eastern Tibet. Belonging to a later period of
development within the various lineages of New Bon, bDe chen gling
stands as an essential link between this tradition and that of the
Ris med movement of the late 19th century. The annotated catalogue
of the thirteen volume collection mostly covers tantric and rDzogs
chen (Great Perfection) texts barely known outside native
libraries.

Gertrud Hirschi - Mudras: Yoga in Your Hands (233 pages)
Mudras also playfully called the "finger power points" are yoga
positions for your hands and fingers. They can be practiced
sitting, lying down, standing, or walking. They can be done at any
time and place while stuck in traffic, at the office, watching TV,
or whenever you have to twiddle your thumbs waiting for something.
Hirschi shows you how these techniques can prevent illness,
relieve stress, and heal emotional problems. Yoga for the
hands--sounds too good to be true. Do it at the office, on an
airplane, lying in bed. Seasoned yoga teacher Gertrud Hirschi has
used these hand postures to ease asthma, relieve flu symptoms,
think more effectively, relieve tension, even have a bowel
movement. The possibilities she attributes to these ancient Indian
techniques are endless. Join the tips of the index finger and
thumb: this clears the mind. Switch the thumb to the little
finger: this restores the body's fluid balance. It's not quite
that easy, of course. Hirschi is careful to lay out exercise
regimens, related herbal remedies, and associated affirmations.
Like a classroom instructor, she guides with simultaneous
breathing advice and conjures up helpful images. From building
character to healing emotional pain, from bringing luck to
connecting with the divine, mudras can work wonders. Now limber up
those digits and lets get into spiritual shape.

Awaken Healing Energy through the Tao: Taoist Secret of
Circulating Internal Energy by Mantak Chia
@300cr (195 pages)
A good point to begin if your
interested in working with his books. This book clearly
describes two meditation exercises to improve the flow of
chi through the energy circuits in the body. The first
involves sending positive energy to your internal organs and
other structures so that they can function better. The
second is the "microcosmic orbit," a very ancient practice
which moves energy in a circular motion up the spine, over
the head, down the front of the body, and back up the spine.
At the end of this exercise the chi is then focused in the
Tan Tien center, right below the navel.
-
Mantak Chia - Awaken Healing Light of the Tao (527
pages)
@300cr Included in this book are new spinal chi kung
warmups to quickly energize any meditation. The reader will
also learn how to combine sexual passion with a loving heart
inside the body to relieve sexual-emotional frustration and
speed up spiritual growth. The focus in this book is
primarily on inner yin and yang breath work (nei kung),
rather than outer breath work such as chi kung, it is
necessary to have first read 'Awaken Healing Energy through
the Tao' to get full use of it though.
-
Mantak Chia - Chi Self Massage (122 pages)
@300cr Mantak Chia pieces together the entire system
of Chi Massage into a logical routine, revealing the methods
used by Taoist masters to maintain their youthfulness. He
explains the energetic theory behind Chi Massage and how
negative emotions affect the organs and nervous system. By
practicing the exercises outlined and following the daily
routine that requires only 5 to 10 minutes to complete,
readers can strengthen their senses--most notably vision,
hearing, and taste--detoxify their internal organs and
glands, help control negative emotions, relieve stress and
constipation, and improve their complexion, teeth and gums,
and overall stamina.
-
Mantak Chia - 1st Formula - Fusion of the Five Elements
(173 pages)
@300cr Fusion of the Five Elements is the first level
of meditation in a Taoist practice also known as Fusion of
the Five Forces in the Universe. It is the beginning of
Inner Alchemy, a scientific process by which you gain
control over the energies of your inner universe so that a
connection can be made to the tremendous energy of the
universe beyond the body. This energy becomes useful for
self healing, day-to-day living and reaching spiritual
goals.
The practice is divided into two parts. The first works with
controlling the forces of the five elements on the five
major organs of the body by learning the elements' effects
upon each other and how to balance and utilize these
energies properly. The advanced Fusion exercises then show
how to channel the greater energies of the stars and planets
to strengthen internal weaknesses and crystallize positive
energy. By "fusing" all the different kinds of energy
together, a harmonious whole is created--the key to
manifesting an Immortal existence.
-
Mantak Chia - 2nd Formula - Lesser Kan & Li (65 pages)
@300cr Kan and Li literally means water and fire. The
Chinese formula Siaow Kan Li (Yin and Yang Mixed) literally
steams the sexual energy (Jing) into life force energy (Chi)
in order to feed the soul or energy body. The formulas in
the Lesser Enlightenment help to give birth to the soul
body, an awakening of that part of yourself, which is free
from environmental and karmic conditioning. The birth of the
soul is not metaphor. It is an actual process of converting
energy into a subtle body. The newborn soul matures in
relation to your energy skills. If you were to die, the
energy gathered in the soul body will not simply dissipate.
The Lesser Enlightenment of Kan and Li leads to the first
steps of overcoming reincarnation.
-
Mantak Chia - 3rd Formula - Greater Kan & Li (50 pages)
@300cr In this book you will find all the information
needed to continue your practice of the Kan and Li
meditations. In the Lesser Kan and Li, you learned to
establish a cauldron in the navel. In this, the Greater Kan
and Li, a new cauldron is re-established at the solar
plexus, where most of the Greater Kan and Li meditation
transpires. The techniques of Greater Kan and Li include the
coupling of hot and cold energy at the solar plexus, an
extension of the steaming procedures taught in Lesser Kan
and Li, and the creation of domestic animals and virgin
children by the transformation of pure organ energy. You can
also reach higher levels of awareness by tapping higher
sources of energy from Nature, and give birth to the soul
and spirit body through self- intercourse, then project this
spirit body to the Mid-Plane for astral flight.
-
Mantak Chia - 4th Formula - Greatest Kan & Li (47 pages)
@300cr This book contains instructions for the final
of the Kan and Li meditation series, the Greatest Kan and
Li. The essence of the Greatest Kan and Li practice is the
establishment of the cauldron at the Heart Center, also
known as the Middle Tan Tien or Cinnabar Palace, and the
further refinement of the soul and spirit. It is at the
Heart Center that most of the Greatest Kan and Li practices
take place. The coupling of the energies here, involving
macrocosmic-microcosmic energetics, is the central formula.
The Kan and Li practices point to the Taoist road to
spiritual immortality and Taoist internal alchemy. The
immortal fetus is produced, nurtured and finally matures
into a spirit body which unites one with the Tao. Master
Mantak Chia is the first Taoist to introduce this spiritual
discipline to the Western public.
-
Mantak Chia - 5th Formula - Sealing of the Five Senses
(47 pages)
@300cr In this book for the first time ever Master
Chia has revealed the final level of the Immortal Tao
Practices of the Universal Tao System. In this book we have
divided the entire Microcosmic Orbit practice into Eight
Formulas: Strengthening the Senses, Activating Sun & Moon,
Connecting Senses to Organs, Activating Thrusting Channels,
Opening the Virtuous Animals, Clearing the Conception Vessel
with the Three Tan Tiens, Clearing the Planets, Building the
Aura and Connecting with the Big Dipper and North Star. This
booklet explains and reveals how to activate the Sealing of
the Five Senses by spiraling, touching, coloring and small
air sipping techniques.
-
Mantak Chia - Iron Shirt Chi Kung I (299 pages)
@300cr In Iron Shirt Chi Kung Master Mantak Chia
introduces this ancient practice that strengthens the
internal organs, establishes roots to the earth's energy,
and unifies physical, mental, and spiritual health. Through
a unique system of breathing exercises, he demonstrates how
to permanently pack concentrated air into the connective
tissues (the fasciae) surrounding vital organs, making them
nearly impervious to injuries--a great benefit to athletes
and other performers. He shows readers how once they root
themselves in the earth they can direct its gravitational
and healing power throughout their bone structure.
Additionally, Master Chia presents postural forms,
muscle-tendon meridians, and guidelines for developing a
daily practice routine. After becoming rooted and
responsive, practitioners of Iron Shirt Chi Kung can then
focus on higher spiritual work.
-
Mantak Chia - Bone Marrow Nei Kung (263 pages)
@300cr Mantak Chia reveals the ancient mental and
physical Taoist techniques used to "re-grow" bone marrow,
strengthen the bones, and rejuvenate the organs and glands.
An advanced practice of Iron Shirt Chi Kung, Bone Marrow Nei
Kung was developed as a way to attain the "steel body"
coveted in the fields of Chinese medicine and martial arts.
This method of absorbing energy into the bones revives the
bone marrow and reverses the effects of aging through the
techniques of bone breathing, bone compression, and sexual
energy massage, which stimulates the hormonal production
that helps prevent osteoporosis. Also included is extensive
information on chi weight lifting and the practice of
"hitting" to detoxify the body.
-
Mantak Chia - Cosmic Fusion (255 pages)
@300cr Cosmic Fusion is an advanced level of Inner
Alchemy that teaches how to bring the physical body into
balance with the energy body--a necessary prerequisite for
the formation of the universal body. Cosmic Fusion exercises
establish the spiritual body firmly in the lower abdomen,
where chi energy is gathered and distributed to all parts of
the body--and into all creation. The fully illustrated
exercises in this book also show how to collect and channel
the greater energies of the stars and planets. By "fusing"
all these different energies together, a harmonious whole is
created, a unity of what is above and below. As heavenly and
earthly forces are brought into balance, the life perfectly
suited to the practitioner manifests, allowing the spirit
body to prepare to move into worlds beyond--and back.
-
Mantak Chia - Cosmic Healing I (250 pages)
@300cr Taoist Cosmic Healing teaches the reader how
to use the major acupuncture points in the hands to
activate, open, and balance the chi meridians throughout the
body. This practice allows the student to detoxify and
rejuvenate the major organ systems and, when combined with
specific body positions and the chi kung stance, to heal
others. Through Mantak Chia's profound understanding of the
ancient esoteric science of guiding chi energy, students can
learn how to harness the astral energies of specific stars.
Master Chia also explains the important role that compassion
and positive energy play in enhancing one's ability to heal.
He presents for the first time in the West the details of
chi kung color therapy and how it can activate and
strengthen the immune system.
-
Mantak Chia - Cosmic Healing II (276 pages)
@300cr Cosmic Healing II deepens the knowledge &
experience of Cosmic Healing I. In Cosmic Healing II the
emphasis is on connecting the body with the five elemental
forces of nature, the moon and sun, the planets, the stars,
galaxies and other celestial phenomena. The authors reveal
step-by-step practices both physical and meditative for
healing oneself and others. Cosmic Healing II incorporates
ancient Taoist knowledge and practices based on Taoist
astronomy observations and cosmological research.

Mantak Chia - Dark Room Enlightenment (43 pages)
|
Mantak Chia - Dark Room (56 pages)
Two versions of the
same book exploring the use of light deprivation as a means
to attaining enlightenment. Includes technique, theory and
diet advice for working in the dark. All spiritual
traditions have used Darkness Techniques in the pursuit of
enlightenment. In Europe, the dark room often appeared in
underground form as a network of tunnels, in Egypt as the
Pyramids, in Rome as the catacombs, and by the Essenes, near
the Dead Sea in Israel, as caves. In the Taoist tradition
caves have been used throughout the ages for higher level
practices. The Tao says: 'When you go into the dark and this
becomes total, the darkness soon turns into light.' Darkness
Technology gives our mind and soul the freedom to wander in
the vast realms of psychic and spiritual experience. When
you enter this primordial state or force you are reunited
with the true self and divinity within. You literally
'conduct' the universal energy. With the information in this
booklet you may see into the past and future, understand the
true meaning of existence, and begin to understand the order
of things. You return to the womb, the cocoon of our
material structure and our original Dark Room.
-
Mantak Chia - Fusion of Eight Channels (48 pages)
@300cr Fusion of the Eight Psychic Channels is the
last book of the three Fusion practices. It teaches you the
last techniques and meditation to make you ready and
prepared to start the Practice of the Immortal Tao. In this
book, you will learn how to open and clean the Great Bridge
and Regulator Channels, to protect your spine and energy
field, to seal the aura and the senses. You will also learn
how to open crown your head. Finally, you will learn to
transform the Microcosmic Orbit, the Thrusting Channels and
the Belt Channel in the Energy Body. With the help of many
diagrams, you will first be able to locate and discover the
practical uses of the points of the Great Bridge and
Regulator Channels. You will then learn to concentrate on
the flow of energy in the channels and to open and connect
each point to enable the energy to flow freely.
The Spinal Cord Microcosmic Orbit practice strengthens and
wraps the spinal cord with energy. Sealing the Aura enables
the practitioner to create a thicker aura to protect the
body, while opening the crown energy helps to clear the
brain and facilitates the reception of higher frequencies.
-
Mantak Chia - Microcosmic Orbit Meditation
(32.6MB zipped MP3s, duration: 91.22 minutes)
The
Microcosmic Orbit practice is the beginning of the process
of the integration of mind and body in Taoist esoteric
practice. The circulation of the Life Force or Chi in the
Microcosmic Orbit is the first form of circulation in the
developing foetus. This energy flow continues, normally
unnoticed, throughout life. Much of modern living consists
of unnatural diet, stressful work patterns, poor posture and
sedentary entertainment resulting in the gradual
accumulation of blockages to the natural circulation of Qi.
The opening of the Orbit is the beginning of the reversal of
this process. It is an important and tangible form of
self-healing.
The Microcosmic Orbit is the key to balancing energies in
the body and the basic foundation for other advanced
meditative practices. Taoist Meditation practice start with
the opening of the Microcosmic Orbit. The Life Force (Qi) is
introduced to each point on the body's two primary meridians
or Yin and Yang energy channels. The front or Functional
channel and the back or Governor channel are joined to form
a circuit of continuous energy flow. This circuit is called
the Microcosmic Orbit.
Practical, tangible health benefits result from opening the
Microcosmic Orbit. Increased resistance to stress and
illness are the most evident. A heightened general level of
energy follows from the conservation and recycling of the
Life Force. A distinctly more centered and harmonious
awareness results from balancing of internal energies
through their circulation in the Orbit.
Lowered internal tension helps the immune system by
promoting the freer flow of lymph fluids.
-
Mantak Chia - Chi Nei Tsang I (58 pages)
Chi Nei Tsang is also known as internal organ chi massage. Taoist
master Mantak Chia brought this practice to the West. It is part
of Master Chia's larger system of healing and spiritual practices
called the Healing Tao. Practitioners use deep, soft, gentle touch
in the abdominal area. They work with acupressure points around
the navel that promote the flow of energy in the abdomen and
improve blood and lymph circulation. Through a series of gentle
rocking, stretching, and shaking movements they encourage the
release of tight abdominal muscles and ligaments.Chi Nei Tsang can
be used for relief from physical complaints and to maintain one's
health. It also works on a deeper emotional level. Like Rosen
Method, Chi Nei Tsang can contact and release unconscious
emotional experiences that are stored as muscle tension. It allows
individuals to reconnect with parts of themselves that have been
cut off from awareness. This can lead to profound and lasting
emotional change.
-
Mantak Chia - Chi Nei Tsang II (66 pages)
The procedures presented here are built on the information in
Master Mantak Chia's first book, Chi Nei Tsang: Internal Organs
Chi Massage. The emotions and "Winds" accumulate in the abdominal
and Navel area. CNT II teaches you how to release these negative
"Winds" and sweep" them out to reestablish a healthy flow of your
vital energy.

Mantak Chia - Sealing of the Five Senses: Opening the Crystal Room
(47 pages)
In this booklet for the
first time ever Master Chia has revealed the final level of the
Immortal Tao Practices of the Universal Tao System. You can divide
your practice into several sections starting with the Three Levels
of Kan & Li to set up the alignment of the body for the Opening of
the Crystal Room in the Sealing of the Five Senses practices. Your
training should be progressive; that is, once you have mastered
one section, you can progress on to the next. Be sure to spend at
least one or two weeks on each section as shown in this booklet,
allowing enough time to thoroughly master each part before adding
on the next section. Remember that you should always do the Chi
Kung Warmups before going on into the meditation; it is very
important to loosen the spine before meditation that helps your
focus. In this booklet we have divided the entire Microcosmic
Orbit practice into Eight Formulas: Strengthening the Senses,
Activating Sun & Moon, Connecting Senses to Organs, Activating
Thrusting Channels, Opening the Virtuous Animals, Clearing the
Conception Vessel with the Three Tan Tiens, Clearing the Planets,
Building the Aura and Connecting with the Big Dipper and North
Star. This booklet explains and reveals how to activate the
Sealing of the Five Senses by spiraling, touching, coloring and
small air sipping techniques. This booklet is designed so you can
use it to do your practice at your home or a cave anywhere in the
world. We are happy to welcome you to the Advanced Level of the
Universal Tao System and to join the Universal Tao family as a
Advanced practitioner.

Mantak Chia - Taoist Ways to Transform Stress into Vitality
(114 pages)
Western medical doctors have only recently discovered the
disastrous effects on health of stressful living and their ways of
coping with it are still in their infancy. They know nothing of
the ancient, successful tradition of the Tao and its long record
of transforming stress into vitality and power. Here, in this
book, the Taoist way is set forth and illustrated. The meditation
technique of the Inner Smile teaches you how to get in touch with
your inner organs, feel love for them and smile to them, so that
stress and negative emotions are transformed into creativity,
learning, healing and peak performance energy. Here is also the
Taoist way of the Six Healing Sounds, which help to cool down the
systems, eliminate trapped energy, clean toxins out of the organs,
and make it possible for organs to be in peak condition. Along
with these ways, you are taught how to freely circulate your Chi
energy throughout your Microcosmic Orbit. These are the Taoist
foundations of true success, power and health.

Dan Inosanto - The Filipino Martial Arts (176 pages)

history of Kali (arnis, escrima, etc) as well as the basic

knowledge. It is complete with pictures and diagrams, making a lot
of the information relatively easy to learn. Learning any type of
movement from a book is difficult, but this book does a pretty
good job of making the information clear.

Yang Tai Chi Chuan by John Hine (226 pages)
@100cr Yang style tai chi chuan is the most widely
practised of all the types of tai chi. Many of the short versions
of the art now proliferating are based upon the Yang style. But
the short form gives only a fraction of the whole, and as such an
unbalanced view of the complete art. This volume should be viewed
as a workbook, a practical tool to assist you onwards and upwards
with your practice of tai chi. If you are currently studying with
a teacher, it should help as a handy reference to that teaching,
outside of the class. For those who are new to tai chi, without
access to competent instruction, this book can serve as a
practical guide with its step-by-step teaching.

transmution of body, mind and spirit. The secret of achieving and
maintaining full sexual potency. The Taoist "valley orgasm" -

-
Mantak Chia - Cultivating Female Sexual Energy (298 pages)
@300cr The first book to reveal in the West the
Taoist techniques that enable women to cultivate and enhance their
sexual energy. Reveals Taoist secrets for shortening menstruation,
reducing cramps, and compressing more chi into the ovaries for
greater sexual power. Teaches the practice of total body orgasm.
For thousands of years the sexual principles and techniques
presented here were taught by Taoist masters in secret only to a
small number of people (sworn to silence), in the royal courts and
esoteric circles of China. This is the first book to make this
ancient knowledge available to the West. The foundation of healing
love is the cultivation, transformation, and circulation of sexual
energy, known as jing. Jing energy is creative, generative energy
that is vital for the development of chi (vital life-force energy)
and shen (spiritual energy), which enables higher practices of
spiritual development. Jing is produced in the sexual organs, and
it is energy women lose continually through menstruation and child
bearing. Mantak Chia teaches powerful techniques developed by
Taoist masters for the conservation of jing and how it is used to
revitalize women's physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Among the many benefits conferred by these practices are a
reduction in the discomfort caused by menstruation and the ability
to attain full-body orgasm.
Sufism
-
Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee - Catching the Thread (304 pages)
Spiritual life is a process of inner transformation in which the
whole psychic structure of the seeker is changed. Exploring the
threshold between psychology and spirituality, Llewellyn
Vaughan-Lee shows how dreamwork guides us on this inner journey
and helps us to understand the different stages of the path. He
explores the psychological dynamics of the relationship with the
teacher, so often misunderstood in the West, and then describes
what is hardly mentioned in the great spiritual literature of
the world: how the soul of the disciple merges with the soul of
the teacher.
-
Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee - Circle of Love (187 pages)
The circle of divine love is always present within the heart.
The journey of the mystic is to retrace this circle and so
experience the oneness that is hidden within us. Continuing his
work of providing a contemporary understanding of Sufism,
Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee draws us into this mystery of the soul. He
describes the way of mystical prayer and of listening with the
heart. He offers valuable insight into power and the spiritual
life: how to use one's power to break free of restrictions and
live the joy of one's divine nature. He explores the primordial
question of why we so easily forget our origin in God. Finally,
The Circle of Love takes us deep into the mystical secret
of being lost in God, to the center of the circle where the
lover merges into the Beloved, and the heart's deepest truth is
revealed.
-
Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee - In the Company of Friends (218 pages)
A spiritual group forms a sacred and protected space where
energy can flow from the inner to the outer world. Weaving
together dreams and spiritual stories, In the Company of Friends

Journey Home (247 pages)
Love is a Fire is an introduction to the Sufi path of love,
taking the reader into the passion and wisdom of this mystical
tradition. The call of the heart and how it draws us back to
divine union is one of mankind's greatest secrets, and for the
Sufi this love is a fire that burns away all traces of
separation. Love is a Fire is based on live talks and meetings
with Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee, who teaches how to live this
burning. He describes the stages of the path of love on the
soul's journey home. This is a book for anyone drawn to the fire
of divine love.
-
Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee - Paradoxes of Love (207 pages)
The Paradoxes of Love explores the theme of mystical love. The
heart's relationship to God is one of the greatest mysteries,
for He is both far and near, both awesome and intimate.
Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee looks at many of the paradoxes of the
path, and how these seeming opposites are united within the
heart. He combines his own experience with the teaching and
wisdom of the Sufi path, showing how love reveals its hidden
nature.
-
Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee - Signs of God (137 pages)
The Signs of God explores the importance of mystical
consciousness at this time of global transition. In the depths
of the heart is hidden the secret purpose of creation, which is
the key to our present time of transformation. The work of the
mystic is to make this key accessible to humanity, and so open
the doors of revelation. The possibilities of the future are
present but veiled, the joy of life is waiting to return. The
mystic can help us to awaken to the oneness that is essential to
life, and to recognize the signs of God that will guide us and
reveal our true purpose.
-
Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee - The Bond With The Beloved (170 pages)
Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee portrays the awakening of the seeker to
the bond of love that has existed within the human heart since
the beginning of time. Drawing on sources both Sufi and
Christian, he details the unfolding of this eternal love affair
between the human seeker and the Divine Beloved. As it explains
the tremendous importance of this mystical relationship not only
to the lover but to the world, this book suggests that through
the inner relationship with the Beloved the lover brings this
higher consciousness into every day life and helps the world
remember that it belongs to God.
-
Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee - The Face Before I was Born (322 pages)
In The Face Before I Was Born, Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee describes
the intoxicating intensity of his own spiritual journey which
began when he was sixteen. Three years later he met his teacher
and felt a sense of belonging beyond this world. The events that
followed over the next twenty-two years tell of tremendous love,
psychological breakdown, craziness, bliss, and the slow work of
balancing the two worlds -- the inner world of the spirit and
the outer demands of everyday family life. This autobiography
tells the ancient story of a spiritual transformation, one that
took him into the terrifying depths and pushed him beyond every
limit. As it made him vulnerable and empty, love showed him her
hidden face. The Face Before I Was Born is a splendid
autobiography, and will have special appeal for readers seeking
their own spiritual perspective.
