The "Dragon Rouge" is one of the most notorious of the little books of black magic known as grimoires.

This Teitan Press publication includes a complete facsimile of the earliest known edition - a French printing that is dated 1521 (although it was probably circa 1800) - along with a complete English translation by Joshua A. Wentworth.

It is prefaced with a thoughtful and sometimes humorous Introduction by Silens Manus.

The text itself is typical of grimoires of the time, and is clearly related to the "Grand Grimoire."

Its anonymous author claims that the work is derived from the wisdom of the legendary King Solomon, and then sets down instructions for the creation of a number of magical implements: blasting rod (wand), talisman and magic circle, that are to be used to summon the demon "Lucifug

This is the Black Book of all Black Books.

There have been many Antichrists' throughout the ages and they have all had one thing in common,

    POWER.

In this book are the Magical Secrets these men used for Destruction and nearly World Domination. Two have passed and the Third will come.

In this book are the Powers he will learn to use, in his quest to bring the next War straight to the gates of heaven itself.

These are the Ancient Spells that were thought to be burned and destroyed by the Church. The only men who had these Recipes and Spells are the ones who sought to dominate the world along with everyone and everything in it. (Napoleon, Hitler) You should be warned that this is the Real and True Magic of the Ancients. It was written that the third "ANTICHRIST" will possess this information again. If there was a school book to start the Antichrist off on his path, this would be it. 2000 years worth of the planet's most ancient spells. ABOVE ANYTHING ON THE AMERICAN MARKET IN THIS FIELD. No wicca, wishcraft, no dancing around trees. What took me 25 years to get, you can have all at once.

Think of any book on Magic in your possession, this book will beat it.

This book challenges the concept that the fallen angels, or Ben Elohim fell from grace and became demons, with their leader Azazel or Shemyaza, identified with the rebel angel Lucifer, becoming, according to the Christian texts, the Prince of Darkness and supreme principal of evil.

Topics covered include what angels are and what they represent; their ancient origins; the major differences between Lucifer/Lumiel and Satan and how the early church demonised Lumiel and the pagan deities of the Middle East; the fallen angels and their stellar lore; the belief that the fallen angels are the same as the faeries and djinns of European and Arabian folklore; the universal myth of the great flood; the Nephelim or Anakim; the female consort of Lucifer, frequently associated in mythology with the dark moon goddesses and sorcery - Lilith, Hecate, Ishtar, Astarte, Asherah, Diana, the Shekinah and Sophia; the mystical symbolism of the rose in occult tradition; the process of cosmic redemption manifesting as a series of incarnations in human form; heretical cults and secret societies through history and in modern times claiming to follow Luciferian beliefs including the Sethians, the Essenes, Knights Templars, the Yezedi, the Ophites, the Mandean, the Order of the Morning Star and the Our Lady of Endor Coven amongst others; Arabic influences on the medieval witch cult; Renaissance angelic magic; the teaching angels or archangels who feature prominently in angelic magick - Michael, Raphael, Gabriel and Two appendices are included with invocations to the Lord Lumiel.

  • The Dictionary of Demons - Names of the Damned - Michelle Belanger

Downloaded: 17 times | Size: 388 pages | Add to wishlist | Download for @200 credits

The Dictionary of Demons starts with a simple premise: names have power. In medieval and Renaissance Europe, it was believed that speaking a demon?s true name could summon it, compel it, and bind it. Occult scholar Michelle Belanger has compiled the most complete compendium of demonic names available anywhere, using both notorious and obscure sources from the Western grimoiric tradition. Presented alphabetically from Aariel to Zynextyur, more than 1,500 demons are introduced, explored, and cross-referenced by theme and elemental or planetary correspondence. This meticulously researched reference work features fascinating short articles on demonology and a wealth of woodcuts, etchings, and paintings depicting demons through the ages.

  • The Grand Grimoire

Downloaded: 101 times | Size: 34 pages | Add to wishlist | Download for @50 credits

One of the most famous and outrageous Grimoires of black magic.A Practical Manual of Diabolic Evocation and Black Magick. The text of Grand Grimoire has been translated by Ms. Gretchen Rudy from the 1612 Italian edition, the primary source work for this grimoire. Secondary sources include the 1823 French edition, which was fraudulently backdated as 1521 and issued as the Red Dragon. The Grand Grimoire was issued again in the later seventeenth century with its original title, Grand Grimoire. Interestingly, the original Italian edition also includes the first published example of the Black Hen, or Black Pullet and although extremely brief, it is the kernalwhich was later elaborated on in subsequent editions as LePoule Noire.

The Grand Grimoire explains a system for entering into a pact with three Infernal Spirits, Lucifer, Ashtaroth & Beelzebuth, through the authority of the Prime Minister of Hell, LucifugeRofocale. In this, the demonology of the Grand Grimoire is unique; while some of the chief spirits are identical to thosein Grimoirium Verum, and others to Lemegeton Clavicula Salomonis vel Regis, the Grand Grimoire stands alone in the literature of demonology with its central figure, Lucifuge Rofocale. The name 'Rofocale' appears to be an anagram for 'Focalor'of the Lemegeton, according to Elizabeth Butler in her Ritual Magic (1949) who goes on to tell us that "by introducing the name of Lucifuge the author has done a service to demonology for which it should be grateful." In his monumental work Of Black Magic & Of Pacts (1898), Arthur E. Waite states that the Grand Grimoire "must be regarded as the veritable Magnum Opus" and he goes on to say that that Eliphas Levi later adopted the personage of Lucifuge in his works.VERSIONS:The Grand Grimoire(42 pages)Dark Lodge version

Black magic and demonolatry from the collection of Joseph Appin. The Red Book of Appin is a name many occultists may have heard but few would know much about.

Folklore claims the book was stolen from the Devil as a trick by a young shepherd on whom Satan had set his sights. Montague Summers in his History of Witchcraft and Demonology relates that the book “contained a large number of magic runes and incantations for the cure of cattle diseases, the increase of flocks and the fertility of fields” and (in common with many books of magic) its simple possession conferred upon the owner certain preternatural powers. By Summers’ time the book had already been missing for at least 100 years.

  • The Satanic Bible - Anton LaVey

Downloaded: 246 times | Size: 99 pages | Add to wishlist | Download for @5 credits

A founder of the Church of Satan explains its philosophies of indulgence and freedom, and discusses Satanic rituals. The Satanic Bible claims the heritage of a horde of evil deities--Bile', Dagon, Moloch, and Yao Tzin to name a few--but these ancient gods have no coherent connection between each other or to Satanism, except that all have been categorized by Christianity as "evil." Calling on these ancient names like a magician shouting, "Abracadabra," LaVey attempts to shatter the classical depiction of Satanism as a cult of black mass and child sacrifice. As the smoke clears, he leads us through a surprisingly logical argument in favor of a life focused on self-indulgence. The Satanic Bible is less bible and more philosophy (with a few rituals thrown in to keep us entertained), but this philosophy is the backbone of a religion that, until LaVey entered the scene, was merely a myth of the Christian church. It took LaVey, and The Satanic Bible, to turn this myth into a legitimate public religion

  • Tyson - Demonology Of King James

Downloaded: 5 times | Size: 325 pages | Add to wishlist | Download for @300 credits

Written by King James I and published in 1597, the original edition of Demonology is widely regarded as one of the most interesting and controversial religious writings in history, yet because it is written in the language of its day, it has been notoriously difficult to understand. Now occult scholar Donald Tyson has modernized and annotated the original text, making this historically important work accessible to contemporary readers. Also deciphered here, for the first time, is the anonymous tract News from Scotland, an account of the North Berwick witch trials over which King James presided. Tyson examines King James' obsession with witches and their alleged attempts on his life, and offers a knowledgeable and sympathetic look at the details of magick and witchcraft in the Jacobean period. Demonology features historical woodcut illustrations and includes the original old English texts in their entirety. This reference work is the key to an essential source text on seventeenth-century witchcraft and the Scottish witch trials

Pacts With the Devil: A Chronicle of Sex, Blasphemy and Liberation

by S. Jason Black, Christopher S. Hyatt

For the first time, a genuine manual of the dreaded "left-hand path." Braving the new Witchcraft Panic that has swept the world, S. Jason Black and Christopher S. Hyatt have written a book that places the Western magical tradition --- and the Western psyche --- in perspective.

Sweeping aside both the historical fabrications of "neo-paganism" and the rampant mental illness of the religious right, Black and Hyatt explore history, psychology and anthropology to reveal the true "secret doctrine" of Western culture. This work confronts the reader with his own fears and inhibitions --- and carries him beyond.

Comprehensively illustrated, this volume contains a detailed history of European "Black Magic" and includes new editions of 17th and 18th century Grimoires with detailed instructions for their use. Extensively illustrated.

Angels, Demons & Gods of the New Millennium

    Lon Milo DuQuette

One of the most widely respected members of the magic community, Lon Milo DuQuette is known for his ability to address the rather intimidating aspects of magick with a casual candor; he makes the subject accessible to the initiate while still holding the interest of the experienced reader. Angels, Demons & Gods of the New Millennium is a collection of loosely connected essays surveying the state of magick in the face of the new millennium. It showcases DuQuette's knack for combining wit with profundity, producing chapters such as "Qabalah-Zen of the West" and "Demons Are Our Friends," while addressing contemporary topics such as initiations and the procession of the equinoxes.

    A History of Heaven

    by Jeffrey Burton Russell

Well-known for his historical accounts of Satan and hell, Jeffrey Burton Russell here explores the brighter side of eternity: heaven. Dispensing with the clich images of goodness that can make even heaven seem unbearable, the author stimulates our imagination with a history of how the joy of paradise has been conceived by writers, philosophers, and artists for whom heaven was an imminent reality. Russell not only explores concepts found among the ancient Jews, Greeks, and Romans as well as early and medieval Christians, but also addresses the intellectual problems heaven poses: how does time "pass" in eternity? is heaven a place or a state? who is in and who is not? what happens to the body and soul between death and Judgment Day? Russell stresses that the best way to approach the logic-defying concept of a place occupying neither space nor time is through poetry and paradox, and through the visions of such mystics as Bernard, Julian of Norwich, and Eckhart.

After the Revelation of Saint John the Divine, the most sublime and encompassing portrait of heaven to date has come not from a theologian but from a poet--Dante Alighieri in his Divine Comedy. Russell's history of heaven culminates in a lively analysis of how Dante described the glories of the indescribable. The unsurpassed images of light, movement, and community that Dante uses so skillfully to convey the presence of God are rooted in the Jewish picture of heaven as a garden or court and in the Greek picture of the Elysian Fields.

Using current scholarly insights together with a vast store of knowledge gathered from the past, Russell takes the idea of heaven as valid and important in itself--something to be understood from the point of view of those believing in it. His very use of language immerses us in the thoughts of those who have sought heaven and provides rich material for contemplation.
